Jim and Shanna Burgardt (Owners), would like to welcome you to the their latest restaurant venture Pizagel's Pizza & Bakery.  Starting with their business's name change, retooling their floor space and menu, adding a bar with wine and beer on tap, adding a flat screen TV, and extending their hours... they are finally able to share Jim's master plan of transforming Bagel Express (which first opened it's doors in 1994), into Topeka's BEST Pizzeria and Bakery Cafe.  The new name is a play off the restaurant’s two featured menu items – pizza and bagels.

The bakery side of the business is open throughout the day, so customers can order a bagel or espresso day or night. Customers can enjoy the bagels, espresso drinks, free Wi-Fi and low-key relaxing atmosphere. Pizza is available by the slice or by the pie from lunch and on into the evening hours.

Jim and Shanna also own Wrap City Grill located at 735 S. Kansas Ave. downtown Topeka.
